Its the blending properties of the contrail of the sniper round. Game designers need to feather a line between what is tangible and intangible in games. Those intangibles then need to blend well with the surrounding environment – physically and graphically – and when something as quick and small as the contrail is closed in on, the blending nature – a colour desaturated sprite – can be warped.
Or at least that what it says under my Snapple lid.
I need to try this with an entire picture and see how it comes out. Gold all aorund with gamers in the background striking a pose. that will be my next accomplishment. And if anybody else would like to try it, go right ahead.
