An invisible person was easily able to be seen in halo 2 since it felt as though you kept seeing a black outline. But then halo 3 came into the picture. And the only way to spot an invisible enemy is either with a puff of smoke or a grenade explosion lighting the backgorund from where he once stood. Great detail in the pic narwal
